    Are they quality leads and traffic?
    You can get a thousand visitors a day on your site- even with a really great site- and still have a conversion rate of nil if the quality is off.

    For bringing traffic to my site, I have used this system:

    10000hits.net/default.aspx

    It has worked out great for me.

      Alan- anyone can generate traffic.

      What sort of conversion rate do you acheive? What's t the demographic? What's the nature of the product or service? What constitutes first-level conversion?

        You got me on most of those Mike. I was trying to be helpful on generating traffic. I think most of those questions would depend on where you are sending your traffic.

        And five years ago, I wasn't one of the "anyone's" that could generate traffic. Didn't know a thing about it. I still don't know that much about it because I don't put much effort into it.

        I'm glad that it came easy for you. That has to be nice.

          I didn't mean to diminish your efforts or your achievements. I was simply wondering about what kind of tangible results someone can get.

          These are all questions that any SME operators will ask.

            No problem Mike.

            Like I said, I'm an amateur that doesn't put much effort into this. I spend more time working on my martial arts site than anything and I haven't tried sending traffic to it yet, other than my students.

            I am expanding the site to include information for people that aren't my students. When I get it closer to done (because it will never be done), then maybe I'll worry about all those things you mentioned.

            For now, I'm measuring my tangible results by my income. I know that if I track all those other things, I can tweak it to be better and when I have my website more prepared, I will do just that.

            Thanks for your input. That's why I joined this tribe, to learn how to do things better.
